Project

This Project is the first hydropower plant construction project in Dohuk Governorate and is located on the Greater Zab River in the Zagros Mountains, Kurdistan region. Deralok Hydropower Plant is a Run-off-River Type Hydropower Plant with a total capacity installed of 37.6 MW and the associated 132 kV Transmission Line. The project discharge is 220m³/s, two turbines of 18.8 MW each, Kaplan-type.
