The Karnafuli HPP houses three Kaplan turbine generator units, installed capacity 156 MW (3×52 MW Kaplan turbines).
Financed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Directorate General for Development Cooperation, MAE-DGCS.
