Project

The Kumbih-03 Hydroelectric Power Project is a medium sized hydroelectric run-of-the river plant with total installed capacity of 45 MW. The plant will generate approximately 205.5 GWh/year. The Project works comprise a 31 m high concrete dam impounding a reservoir of 300,000 m3, power waterways including an intake, a 5,8 km long headrace tunnel, a surge shaft, an underground penstock, a surface powerhouse housing no. 3 Francis turbine units and a 150 kV switchyard for the tie-in connection with the existing Sidikalang-Subulussalam transmission line.
