ELC Electroconsult participated in the 44th Annual Conference of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), held in Bologna, Italy, from May 1–4, 2025. This event brought together practitioners, researchers, and key stakeholders to explore developments in Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), with a focus on regulations, innovations, emerging trends, and implementation challenges. The conference served as a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative solutions in the field of environmental and social sustainability. ELC actively contributed to the conference by presenting a framework for integrating landscape connectivity into ESIA to support biodiversity conservation in linear infrastructure projects, as well as showcasing an innovative data management system for real-time environmental and social monitoring in hydropower development.
