ELC Electroconsult is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the consultancy contract for the Regional Geothermal Engineering and Technical Advisor (GETA) role in the Eastern Caribbean, following a successful procurement process by the OECS Commission, the project’s Executing Agency.
The consultancy aims to strengthen the technical capacity of Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. ELC Electroconsult will provide expert technical advisory services to manage geothermal energy development risks and ensure cost-effective project implementation throughout the development cycle.
Key responsibilities of the consultancy include providing expert advice on geothermal resource development, reviewing technical documents and outputs, recommending further studies and actions, and supporting governments in understanding associated risks and opportunities. Additionally, ELC will support critical drilling activities – such as exploration, production, and injection – by advising on engineering, technology, site layouts, infrastructure requirements, reservoir modeling, and procurement processes. This project reflects ELC Electroconsult’s dedication to supporting sustainable energy development in the region, building local expertise, and helping countries move toward clean, renewable energy solutions.
